THE WALL PAGE

Ginger Dunlap-Dietz created the mural in our entrance way in the Spring of 1999. With the help of Mellisa Shearer, Bill Potts and Carol Cole. Ginger assembled the wall by selecting shards from potters represented by Eureka in the last two decades. Bordered by her own tiles and accented by bits of mirror, the wall also includes other references to the world of the potter: experimental glaze tests, kiln gods, cone pads, handles, turned lids and bottoms and artists' signatures and marks. |

Ginger Dunlap-Dietz designs, builds and installs ceramic tile pieces in residential and public settings. Inquiries regarding commissions can be submitted through the gallery (by mail, e-mail or telephone).

The excitement generated by the installation taught us again the power of public art (and a little bit of performance art as well). The continued public interest has made the wall a must see for tourists visiting Syracuse. There are now snap shots of people from all over the world framed by the wonderful colors that brighten our streetscape.
